T.A.S students will be developing a show titled SMALL TOWN POLITICS inspired by Republican vice
presidential, pick (by John McCain) Sara Palin . This show will be based on the growth and struggles of
small towns, in remote areas of southern California above is just few of the show now in development
by the students.
In this series the students of T.A.S look at State and Federal regulations that govern small town
America.. How small cities cope with the restraints placed on them form State and Federal regulations,
regarding everything from budgets to wild life preservations. T.A.S students will question the politicians
of these small towns and cities on where they get their money, their long and short term goals, what
they feel about the up coming elections and their out look on the future of small town America.
T.A.S students will also question them about how the price of gasoline effect their citizens, how water
plays a roll in their future development and how wind and solar power may play a roll in the future of
their cities.
The students of T.A.S working on this project will enlighten it's viewers on the rang-galling that takes
place between small town Politics and big time Government. What challenges small town politicians face
getting the funding and services needed to promote growth and keep services to their citizens. How
special taxes are figure in and what roll this tax plays in keeping small towns alive.
